Locally Turned Beech Plate

There is something about eating from wood, the connection between the soil and earth, I find it quite grounding. This plate is the perfect balance, it is the balance of its material and design. I wanted it to be thin enough to please the senses whilst still being practical. I have worked with an incredible local woodturner, Colwin Way, to translate this vision for me.
